Pandora's Collective News

Good Morning, Hope you are enjoying the rest of your weekend which means fall is coming my favourite time of year. I am planning on going next Saturday night to see One More for the Road at the Fringe Festival. (See below for details,) My good friend Kempton Dexter (some of you know him as Hi Rise Dex and saw him perform at the Summer Dream Festival) is performing in this great show. Anyone want to join me? Let me know so we can get tickets or meet up. See below for other show times. And Billeh Nickerson will be the feature at the slam tonight. I would expect an overflow into the streets. Be there early. Jen Currin's siblings will be in town on the 20th to premier their film This Room is the Sea. I am planning on being there. Hope you can too. Other than that there isn't much else to say except I hope it is sunny for this last day of summer and hey if it isn't, Easter is just around the corner and you can always pretend it is spring. Bonnie

One More for the Road

Company: Road Show Company
Duration: 75 minutes

Written by George Ryga and performed by Jacques Lalonde, "One More For The Road" is a richly textured and poignant commentary on life, carried along with song and banjo. This is Jacques 22nd annual Fringe, in a show which Ryga himself described as "a gift to the long, long line of musicians, raconteurs and folk custodians of memory." "And that", says Director John Taylor, "makes it pretty much a perfect fit for Jacques. Musical Direction by Kempton Dexter
